From Soggy to Stunning: The Rhos-on-Sea Garden Transformation

Project Overview

Willow Tree Carpentry and Joinery was delighted to complete a comprehensive garden transformation for our brilliant clients in Rhos On Sea. This project was centered around solving a practical challenge: the existing drainage system was becoming overwhelmed during heavy rainfall, leading to persistent sitting water. By designing a natural soakaway and installing high-quality close-board fencing, we were able to provide a solution that was both functional and aesthetically beautiful.

Scope of Work

The project involved a full outdoor overhaul, moving from technical groundworks to expert timber installation. Key tasks included:

Drainage Assessment and Planning

* Concluded that the original drainage system was insufficient for heavy rain storms.

* Designed a natural soakaway system as the most effective and sustainable means to manage water runoff on the property.

Groundworks and Soakaway Installation

* Excavated the designated area to prepare for the soakaway.

* Installed the drainage solution and finished the area with a clean gravel surface, ensuring water can now naturally and efficiently filter back into the ground.

Fencing and Joinery

* Supplied and installed new close-board fencing around the garden perimeter.

* Ensured all posts and gravel boards were perfectly leveled to provide a secure, private, and long-lasting boundary for the clients.

Finishing Touches

* Integrated the new gravel area seamlessly with the existing shed and patio.

* Cleared the site to leave a clean, transformed space ready for the clients to enjoy, regardless of the weather.

Outcome
